So you may be thinking, "Wow, Jaxson always seems so pleasant and content."

The truth is that we have cameras placed throughout the house so if we find Jaxson is being particularly photogenic, we shoot away like crazy. I am saving the upset baby pictures for later when my daily blogs need a boost in subject material.

We are finding that this is Jaxson's favorite sleeping pose when he's not swaddled up for the night.

Day 20

Today was Jaxson's original due date. He's now a term baby.

It's really amazing what has happened in the last 3 weeks. We find ourselves very fortunate and grateful for all that has happened to our little family. Jaxson is gaining weight and getting stronger each day. I am not entirely sure what trials and tribulations I'll be blogging about three weeks from today, but I do know that Jaxson has grabbed our hearts and I'll enjoy sharing that love each day with you all.

It is really wonderful having Grandpa and Grandma
around to help us out. They have been a Godsend.

Day 14

Jaxson had his first visitors today.

Autumn and Soleil said Hello

and Nick and Beth Anne came to say Hi.

Jaxson had a great time meeting new friends.

... OK he was sleeping through most of the day, but I am sure if he wasn't still a week from being a full term baby, he'd be more alert and have more charisma.

Day 13

Nap time with Mom & Dad

We're trying to catch up with some sleep when we can. Jaxson seems to be pretty content in the arms of his loving parents. At just over 6 lbs. he is not such a heavy weight on your chest. We know that will change before we know it.

Jaxson got to meet his Grandpa Don today. It was a special day.

We took Jaxson on his first walk today. It wasn't far since Mommy is still healing but it was great to get some fresh air.
